I love playing tennis.
Nothing can compare to the feeling when you smack that ball right-on. With the wind in your air, sweat in your eyes, you roar as you make the finishing shot. The game of tennis unleashes the beast within you.

I’m really grateful for my school, team, and my coach. I have developed some of the deepest and most heartfelt relationships in my school’s tennis program. We have also witnessed the most historically hilarious events @lexiharrod @maidenform @mickeymouse. This is the part of high school I will probably miss the most :(. In my 5 years in the tennis program, I have been on Varsity for three years. We have gone to state, have gone to section finals, and have gone to various tournaments. We have also been conference champs for 2014 and 2013. This year, as a captain, I also created this dank website mvtennis.org and designed our dank hat for our school’s team. Shout out to my whole team and Mike Cartwright for shaping my life here at MVHS tennis. “Put your mounds up!”

This is the #1 place to train off season. Though LT Fridley may not have free mouthwash, lotion, or shaving cream, their tennis facility makes up for it. I mean it, each and every coach is driven to help you be a better tennis player in a positive, reinforcing (and humorous) manner. When I go hit at the club, I feel happy, alive, and lucky – there’s almost like some sort of culture that surrounds the family of tennis players there. And I’m grateful to have played at this club for 4 years now. I feel extremely lucky to be able to participate at the club and hit my heart out all day, every day. Shout out to my coach Brian McCoy and my fellow peeps: Alexis Nelson and Annika Teske for being awesome and inspirational hitters at the club.
